The Extreme Materials is an international journal focusing on materials under extreme conditions or having extreme properties. It publishes innovative original academic research articles and high-level review articles in the field of materials science. All submissions will be peer reviewed and published via Open Access if accepted.

Extreme Materials (EM) is an International open access journal focusing on the materials working under extreme environments and/or having extreme properties. EM publishes original research articles and high-level review articles focus on design, processing, structure-property relationships, performance and life-time prediction from fundamental and application-oriented perspectives. All submissions will be peer reviewed and published via open access after accepted.
The following aspects of the science and engineering of materials are of particular interest:

● Materials for extreme corrosion environment
● Materials for extreme irradiation environment

This journal is a peer reviewed, fully open access journal owned by ISA (INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE ACCELERATOR). ISA retains copyright of the overall compiled journal and the compiled issues. The article is universally and freely accessible via the internet in perpetuity, in an easily readable format immediately after publication.
The open access publication fee for this journal is USD 1500, plus taxes. All APCs for articles submitted to the journal before the 31 December 2024 will be fully waived.
